Functional Assessments

What an achievement it is, to be able to look back and say, "I fell apart, and I survived."

A Functional Assessment measures an individual's level of function and ability to perform specific tasks in all aspects of daily living that are important to the person. It can provide crucial information that can assist a person to achieve their goals by identifying a person's strengths and weaknesses to enable challenges to be addressed.

Following on from the functional assessments, recommendations are made to increase a person's independance through therapy goals, assistive technology, equipment or support.
