Housing Assessment

Service Description

To offer support, guidance and advise on the most suitable housing adaptations to enable a person to manage within the home environment. All recommendations/specifications will be taken from: Irish Wheelchair Association Best Practice Access Guidelines Designing Accessible Environments Association of Occupational Therapists. (2019). Housing Design Guidelines for Occupational Therapists (2nd ed.). Dublin, Ireland: Wonder Works. Part 1: Technical Information & Guidance. SDCC, DCC, DLRCOCO and KCC will reimburse the cost of the OT Housing Assessment and Report (€250.00) through the Grant application.
